This hands-on event will enable attendees to learn through participation in the implementation of a Clean Manufacturing project and experience the development of a process map, a material balance diagram, a materials balance spreadsheet, and the determination of the system’s resultant materials efficiency – all by doing. It will enable the participant to learn first-hand the true cost of waste and techniques to use to eliminate wasted materials, energy and productivity, the latter due in part to workplace cleanliness, safety and health deficiencies.
