MANTEC continues to train the LEAN leaders of South Central PA manufacturers.  For the fifth graduating class, 33 received their certification in 2010 for a total of 181 completing the program.  This was the second year for the LEAN Champion program with five additional graduates. 

Learning the LEAN Manufacturing concepts and application methods is the start of a life-long journey. The LEAN Certification Program provides the participants with a well-planned, structured approach to becoming a LEAN leader.  LEAN Champion is designed for those who are charged with leading the LEAN transformation in their organization and have completed the MANTEC LEAN Certification Program.  It takes determination and commitment for a manufacturer to become a LEAN enterprise.
