MANTEC Launches New Website

It's here! A project years in the making, MANTEC proudly announces the re-launch of the www.mantec.org website. We hope you find the new site easy to navigate, engaging, and a resource to drive manufacturing innovation.

Home page improvements include highlighting client successes and testimonials. Our clients speak volumes and we always appreciate the feedback. You are now reading the new Blog. This section will update as needed to inform you of new resources available through our extensive partnerships or share important MANTEC news. Feel free to engage in the dialog and leave us comments. For instance, what do you think of the new website?

Service offerings are now in five categories: Business Growth Services, Process Improvement/LEAN, Environmental, Health & Safety, Workforce Development and Information Systems. Clicking on any of these tabs will highlight specific areas to continuously and strategically strengthen your business.

The CEO Forum is for you to interact with your manufacturing peers and isn't just for CEO's. We'll occasionally post some questions that may concern many of our clients. We understand running a business is difficult and it always helps to learn from experiences. This section does require registration for participation.

MANTEC holds many events in a year to keep our clients up to date on industry trends. On the home page, one event is highlighted. Through the events link you can view the whole list of upcoming events or select a particular category of interest. Many great events are planned through June. Stay tuned for our new events catalog with seminars and workshops planned through May 2010.

We would be remiss if we did not thank our web developer, North Star Marketing. They took the time to understand our needs, walked us through the process, and met every expectation in the website design and functionality. For the best part, the project was complete on time and within the budget.

What a great site! No staff pictures?! I went on the site for the first time tonight prior to forwarding the address to a friend of mine in Ohio who has just joined a manufacturer based in suburban Cleveland. I was blown away! What a difference from the previous site. Great work!

Our lovely faces are of course on the website. You can go to About MANTEC in the green bar at top and then choose personnel or click on this link http://www.mantec.org/#personnel_info.cfm

Very clean! It's apparent that a lot of thought went into the new layout! I like the drop down menus at the top of the page! They really do a great job of getting you to the information you need. I think the "search" function needs some tweaking, though. I searched "lean", "workforce" and "strategy" and got no results for any of these keywords. I'm confident that any first time visitor would still find the services they needed in few clicks! Excellent!

Tom, thank you for alerting us of the needed tweaking. The search function was modified and now gives the results you need in those areas. I am glad users agree that the site is positioning us well and that the information is accessible.
