Description:

This hands-on workshop will educate attendees on the various OSHA resources available and will guide them step-by-step on understanding code of regulations, OSHA inspection process, OSHA resources, updates, and cooperative programs.

Participants will gain:

  • An appreciation of the various OSHA rules as they relate to your industry.  Copies of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) will be available for use during the session.
  • Understanding of OSHA’s primary inspection priorities.
  • A brief update on current OSHA actions and the leadership changes within OSHA/Region III.
  • How to navigate through OSHA’s revised website.
  • Awareness of the “Top 10 deficiencies” found in worksites during 2008.
